The CPU is what manages the whole CNC system. It obtains the data stowed in the memory as a part program. The data is then interpreted and altered into position control and speed control signals. It runs the program of the spindle or control axis. An action is corrected if it does not match the programmed data. Speed control unit functions in a harmonious way with the CPU for the movement of the machine axes.
